Who We Are
Amberly Care Courses is a learning initiative developed by Amberly Care Services — a trusted name in health and social care. We created this platform to meet a need that is often overlooked: the everyday family carers who step in to care for loved ones with little to no formal training or guidance.
We’ve seen first-hand how overwhelming it can be. Whether it’s navigating personal care, medication support, mobility, or emotional wellbeing — family carers carry a heavy and noble responsibility. Our mission is to lighten that load through practical, accessible learning that puts carers first.
Why We Started With Family Carers
This course was born from compassion and lived experience. Many of us at Amberly have supported ageing parents, children with additional needs, or partners facing long-term illness. We know how it feels to want to “do it right” but not know where to begin.
We realised that while professionals receive training — family carers are often left to figure things out alone. That’s why our first course, “Caring for a Loved One at Home: A Beginner’s Guide for Family Carers,” is designed to walk you through the fundamentals with warmth, clarity, and encouragement.
Where We're Headed
This is just the beginning.
We plan to grow Amberly Care Courses into a full hub of support for unpaid carers, offering:
